主讲人简介:
Dr. Umar Rashid completed his Ph.D. in December 2021 at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, under the CAS Key Laboratory of Mechanical Behavior and Design of Materials, Department of Modern Mechanics. Following his doctoral studies, he pursued postdoctoral research at Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang. Currently, Dr. Rashid is serving as a Distinguished Associate Researcher at the Institute of Advanced Study, Chengdu University. His primary research focuses on fluid mechanics and mathematical modeling.
主讲内容简介:
This lecture focuses on fluid-structure interaction involving Nano-Encapsulated Phase Change Materials (NEPCMs) in the presence of a flexible fine structure at the base of a microchannel. The Finite Element Method (FEM) will be implemented to numerically solve the partial differential equations governing the fluid flow and heat transfer of the phase change materials. A grid refinement and validation test will be discussed using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and a Convolutional Neural Network with Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (CNN-BiGRU) to ensure the accuracy of the numerical results. Additionally, the effects of different elastic fin shapes on flow behavior, solid volume fraction, thermal conductivity, and viscosity on velocity, temperature, kinetic energy, and the Nusselt number will be presented.
